Essex-based temporary power specialist Templant has been acquired by Camfaud Group, the UK’s largest concrete pumping company and part of Concrete Pumping Holdings, Inc.

The deal will support further investment in fleet, transport and service capability, while helping Templant build a multi-depot network across the UK.

Led by Chris and Zoe Allen, Templant has more than 30 years of experience and provides planned and emergency temporary power services across the UK on a 24/7 basis.

The company operates more than 250 generators from 20kVA to 1250kVA, supported by distribution equipment, storage systems, load banks and a team of more than 35 staff delivering design, installation and logistics services.

Templant said customers will continue to receive the same 24/7 service from the existing team as the business expands.

Expansion plans include using Camfaud Group depots nationwide, adding more service vans and HGVs, and creating new roles to support a wider network.

With demand rising for lower-emission temporary power, Templant plans to expand its Stage V generator and battery energy storage fleet to support larger projects and stricter environmental standards.

The two businesses said the acquisition brings together shared priorities around safety, people and service, creating a platform for further growth.

Chris Allen, managing director of Templant, said the deal will help the business expand into a multi-depot operation while supporting larger projects.

Tony Faud, managing director of Camfaud Group, said the acquisition reflects confidence in the Templant team and brand.
