Bobcat has debuted its next-generation R-Series compact loaders in Europe at Samoter 2026 in Verona, alongside a new Stage V version of the T650 compact track loader.

The updated range includes T66-2, T76-2 and T86-2 track loaders and S66-2, S76-2 and S86-2 skid-steers, with the new naming intended to highlight the latest generation of hardware and technology.

Updates include a redesigned electrical system, durability and uptime improvements, and a new glove-friendly 8in touchscreen display with a more automotive-style interface.

A new four-mode drive system offers Balanced, Agile, Dynamic and Charged settings to suit different operating styles and tasks.

On the S86-2 and T86-2, lift height increases to about 3.7m and engine output rises to 85.75kW (115hp), improving loading capability and performance.

Further changes cover the cab layout, charging and controls, plus improved visibility, accessibility and component protection.

Bobcat says the updates are aimed at making the loaders easier to use, more durable and more productive, while reducing downtime for customers.

Bobcat also launched the T650 Stage V compact track loader, built in Dobris, Czech Republic, using the M-Series 600-frame platform and a 55kW (74hp) 2.4-litre engine that meets emissions rules without AdBlue.

The T650 has a vertical lift path, a rated operating capacity of 1192kg, optional High-Flow hydraulics and standard Machine IQ telematics, and is targeted at road, infrastructure and fibre installation work in Europe.

Bobcat sees strong demand for compact track loaders in Italy and across Europe, where the T650, T76-2 and T86-2 are aimed at infrastructure and utility projects.
