HG has launched the E3000, a new 100% electric 3-tonne dumper that delivers up to 12 hours of on a single charge.
The integrated charger provides a full charge in about four hours, allowing the dumper to be charged directly on-site or via charging stations without additional equipment.
As the world’s only electric 3-tonne dumper, the HG E3000 is also available with a high tip, making unloading into containers and trucks faster and more flexible.
HG has been producing compact dumpers since 1971. In 2019, HG launched the first electric 1-tonne dumpers.
Since 2023, HG has produced electric 2-tonne dumpers, which in practice deliver the same work performance and up to 12 hours of runtime as the new E3000. Both the 2- and 3-tonne models are equipped with HG’s drivetrain with four individual wheel motors and advanced software architecture.
“With the HG E3000, we once again prove that electric dumpers are not only better for people and the environment – they are also more efficient, cheaper to operate, and can run more than a full working day on a single charge. Electrification only makes sense when range is no longer a concern. With 3-tonne dumpers, we are proving, as we already have with 2-tonne dumpers, that we can deliver on both performance and reliability – while enabling customers to save 15% per operating hour compared to a diesel dumper,” says Nikolaj Birkerod, HG CEO.
