SHERPA are a manufacturer of innovative mini-loaders and add-on parts. The extensive ‘range’ of SHERPA mini-loaders and tools are the most successful proof of this. SHERPA does make a difference. Day in, day out. By making heavy work easier, lighter, quicker and cleaner.

A brief review.

At he end of the 1980’s: founders Mart and Helma Van den Hanenberg decided to start as importers of Skid steer mini loaders. From his experience and knowledge in the road working sector, Mart saw the opportunities, thanks to innovative add-on equipment, to present a solution for the heavy work that street pavers perform as a rule. This attempt was noticed by the Federation of Construction- and Woodwork and was awarded by them by means of granting the ‘Eimert Sinoo’ prize. This as a result of the ground-breaking development for improvement of labour conditions.

After a number of years it was decided to develop a machine in-house. Stronger, more powerful and more versatile. The SHERPA mini-loaders and the compact SHERPA 100skid-steer loader, a number of compact SHERPA articulated loaders were launched under the name SHERPA 150, SHERPA 200 and SHERPA 300.

Continuous innovation

The innovative character of SHERPA is anchored in the company-DNA. Wherever things can be improved, they will be. And wherever opportunities are noticed for new applications, solutions are devised. A present example of this is the development of the fully electric SHERPA that does not produce exhaust gases and is being deployed successfully for activities inside confined spaces.

Leading in electric mini loaders

With the launch of the SHERPA 100ECO and the SHERPA 100EHD (remotely controllable), SHERPA has taken a leading role in the area of electric mini-loaders. Thus, SHERPA was the first to respond to the huge demand from users in construction, at demolition companies, in the agricultural scene and by landscapers, who are in need of a compact. powerful mini-loader that runs quietly and produces no exhaust gases.
